Finding your tribe, whether that is one person or one hundred, will help you to feel understood.
If you're a highly sensitive person (HSP) it's common to feel like you don't belong, anywhere.
This has always been the case for me, and still is. The good thing that I've learned now though is that it's okay. It's normal. Whatever that is.
Being one of the 20% of the population who are highly sensitive, we are the minority, so there are fewer people that we might feel we truly connect with. And, it is likely we will always feel like we don't fit.
Understanding this about myself has transformed the way I think about life, friendships and connections.
Keep an eye out for the people you feel you connect deeply with. The ones who upon first meeting you feel like you've known them forever. The ones who are deep, speak from the heart, and are not afraid to do so. The ones who listen, engage wholeheartedly, and question with interest.
Build a clan, big or small with whom you can really connect.
Do you struggle to find your tribe? I'd love to hear your experience.
