Homemade Natural Muesli

Over the last few weeks I've been drawn to what I now know is a Mediterranean diet, and have come up with a delicious new muesli recipe that I'm sold on. Not only does it keep me full all morning, but it's scrumptious. And, it turns out this is the perfect way of eating for my blood type.

This is super easy and of course you can substitute any of the nuts and seeds I'm using for ones you prefer. You could add dried fruit and coconut if you wish too. Makes 10 Servings INGREDIENTS 1 c chopped walnuts 1 c pumpkin seeds 1 c sunflower seeds

1 c coconut ⅓ c flax seeds ⅓ c sesame seeds ⅓ c almond meal Simply mix it up and place in a glass jar. This is absolutely delicious as a bircher-type muesli. Using half a cup of both muesli and your favourite yoghurt, add fruit and a little honey and stir well. Place in the fridge overnight. Warm for 30 seconds in the microwave if you prefer to take the chill off things. This makes 20 quarter cup servings. It's a high protein breakfast I mix with yoghurt and frozen berries that keeps me satisfied until at least lunchtime. Enjoy!
